Abstract:
According to the present invention, a marking showing an operation site in a surgery can be precisely and quickly made not only on the skin but also on a surgical drape applied to the skin. An ink for surgical marker, said ink having a composition which comprises isopropyl alcohol as a solvent, polyvinylpyrrolidone participating in film formation and methylrosanilinium chloride as a pigment, wherein the content of polyvinylpyrrolidone is adjusted, in particular, to 2-12% inclusive. Due to this composition, the ink can be smoothly discharged and a pigment-containing film can be quickly formed and adhered as the ink dries. Thus, precise marking can be quickly made not only on the skin but also on a surgical drape applied to the skin.
