Abstract:

A water−color ink is provided which contains a compound having in the molecule one or more structures represented by the general formula (1) or a salt thereof and exhibits a clear hue and excellent fastnesses to light and moisture: (1) wherein R₁ to R₅ and R₇ are each independently hydrogen, halogeno, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy, substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, hydroxyl, −COOH, −SO₃H, −CONR₈R_9,or −COXR₁₀&semi and R₆ is hydrogen, cyano, aminocarbonyl, sulfomethyl, or −SO₃H.
