Abstract:
An inkjet apparatus (1000) performs: preliminary drive operation wherein pressure is applied, by means of a pressure applying section (3010), to an ink (40) contained in an ink containing section (301e) of an inkjet head (301), and preliminary oscillatory waves are applied to the ink (40) contained in the ink containing section (301e); and main drive operation wherein the ink (40) is jetted from the nozzle (3031) by applying main oscillatory waves to the ink (40). In order to have the preliminary oscillatory waves and the main oscillatory waves interfere with each other, a time to start the main drive operation is set within a period where displacement of the preliminary oscillatory waves are in the direction toward the inner side of the nozzle (3031).
