Abstract:
An inkjet device (1) that has an inkjet head (6) and that coats a base surface (5) with ink containing material of a functional element, said inkjet device (1) having: a scan mechanism (23, 24) that controls the relative positions of the inkjet head (6) and the base surface (5) so that the inkjet head (6) and the base surface (5) move back and forth relative to each other in a primary scan direction (X) and so that the inkjet head (6) and the base surface move relative to each other in an auxiliary scan direction (Y) when switching from the forward path to the return path in the back-and-forth movement; an enclosure unit (15) that encloses the range in which the inkjet head (6) moves due to the scan mechanism (23, 24) when viewed in the direction to view the base surface (5) plane and that encloses a prescribed range (H3) containing the height (H1) at which the nozzle face of the inkjet head (6) is disposed when viewed in the direction to view a side face of the base surface (5); and a vapor supply unit (16) that is provided on the external side of the base surface (5) and in the range enclosed by the enclosure unit (15) when viewed in the direction to view the base surface (5) plane and that supplies, to the range enclosed by the enclosure unit (15), vapor of a material that is the same as the solvent component contained in the ink.
