Abstract:
A head (5) is configured in such a manner that a channel member (23) has: a nozzle (33) open to a first main surface (23a); and a pressurizing chamber (35) connecting to the nozzle (33) and located on the second main surface (23b) side, the second main surface (23b) being the surface on the reverse side of the first main surface (23a). A piezoelectric actuator substrate (25) is overlaid on the second main surface (23b) and covers the pressurizing chamber (35). An FPC (27) has an insulating base film (55), wiring (61) which is provided on one main surface of the base film (55), and an insulating layer (59) which covers the wiring (61), and the insulating layer (59) is provided facing the side of the piezoelectric actuator substrate (25), which is on the opposite side of the piezoelectric actuator substrate (25) from the channel member (23). Above the pressurizing chamber (35), the insulating layer (59) has different thicknesses (T) at one end and at the other end of the insulating layer (59) in a predetermined direction along the second main surface (23b), the thicknesses (T) being measured from the base film (55).
