Abstract:
In the present invention, in a drive region in which a piezoelectric body of an inkjet head is displaced, the ratio a/b of the length a in the longitudinal direction and the length b in the transverse direction within a plane that is perpendicular to the thickness direction of the piezoelectric body is 2.0-10.0. The piezoelectric body contains potassium-sodium niobate. In the piezoelectric body, the ratio of the peak intensity in the (100) orientation relative to the sum of the peak intensities in the (100) orientation, (110) orientation and (111) orientation of a perovskite phase, as determined by X-Ray diffraction, is not less than 50% and less than 100%, and the ratio of the peak intensity in the (110) orientation relative to this sum of peak intensities is 0.1-50%.
