Abstract:
Provided is an inkjet printer capable of causing fluids such as ink, rinsing solution, or air to flow accurately into the ink pathway. Said inkjet printer is provided with ink pathways (16, 18, 28), valves (22, 26), a suction device and a control device. The control device is provided with: a first control section for performing a first operation of closing the valve (22), opening the valve (26), and driving the suction device for a first time period; and a second control section for performing, after the first operation, a second operation of opening the valve (22), closing the valve (26), and driving the suction device for a second time period.
