Abstract:
Provided is an inkjet printer including an ink supply device that can be used for a long time. The inkjet printer according to the present invention includes an ink supply device 170. The ink supply device 170 comprises: a hollow case 151; an ink storage chamber 154 that stores ink and has a gas-liquid interface at which air and the ink are in contact with each other; a pressure-sensitive part 161 that constitutes a portion of the ink storage chamber 154 and is displaced by the head pressure of the ink 59 stored in the ink storage chamber 154; and a sensor 164 that directly or indirectly detects the position of the pressure-sensitive part 161.
