Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an inkjet printer capable of appropriately performing printing on a tapered outer peripheral surface of a bar member. [Solution] An inkjet printer 10 is characterized by being provided with: a member holding mechanism 50 for holding a bar member 190, on an outer peripheral surface 190a of which printing is to be performed by means of an inkjet head capable of performing the printing in a direction indicated by an arrow 10b; an inclination adjustment mechanism 100 capable of adjusting the inclination of the member holding mechanism 50 about an axis 112a perpendicular to a direction in which the bar member 190 extends, so that the amount of change, in the direction indicated by the arrow 10b, in a gap between an ink discharge surface of the inkjet head and the outer peripheral surface 190a does not exceed a specific level; and a horizontal adjustment mechanism 130 capable of adjusting the position of the inclination adjustment mechanism 100 so that the direction in which the axis 112a extends is perpendicular to both a direction of ink discharge, indicated by an arrow 10a, from the discharge surface, and the direction indicated by the arrow 10b.
