Abstract:
Data are printed for a predetermined number of times in a printing region having a width W2 smaller than the maximum printing width W1 of a printing head (26). The printing is made by using a predetermined ink nozzle (26d) while a printing medium (F) is moved relative to the printing head (26) with the position of the printing head (26) relative to the direction perpendicular to the direction (X) in which the printing medium (F) is fed fixed. After that, every time when printing is performed for a predetermined number of times while the printing medium (F) is moved for a predetermined distance at a time, the printing head (26) is moved in the direction perpendicular to the direction (X) in which the printing medium (F) is fed, and again printing is performed in the printing region, with the printing head (26) fixed, by using an ink nozzle (26d) that is different in at least one part from the ink nozzle (26d) used before the printing head was moved.
