Abstract:
Provided is an inkjet printer with which it is possible to reduce, compared to conventional art, the yellowing of a coating formed by a clear ink applied to a printing formed by a color ink on a printing medium. Disclosed is an inkjet printer (10) comprising an LED lamp (26) that emits ultraviolet rays capable of curing a color ink, and an ultraviolet lamp (27) that emits ultraviolet rays capable of curing a clear ink, wherein: an ultraviolet-curable color ink is ejected by a color inkjet head (24) toward a printing medium (90); ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 365 nm or longer are emitted by the LED lamp (26) toward the color ink adhering to the printing medium (90); an ultraviolet-curable clear ink is ejected by a clear inkjet head (25) toward the cured color ink; and ultraviolet rays with a wavelength shorter than 365 nm are emitted by the ultraviolet lamp (27) toward the clear ink adhering to the color ink.
