Abstract:
The present invention limits blocking more effectively. The inkjet printing apparatus (100) is provided with: a platen (3), which heats a medium (20) to no higher than the glass transition temperature (Tg1) of the resin forming the medium (20); an after-heater (4) for heating the medium (20) at least to the glass transition temperature (Tg2) of the resin in the ink; a winding part (5) for winding the medium (20); and a cooling section for cooling the medium (20) or the winding part (5) to a temperature lower than either temperature (Tg1) or temperature (Tg2).
