Abstract:
Provided is a recording device for which the compactness of an inkjet recording device is taken into account. An inkjet recording device is provided with: a head unit capable of moving in a prescribed movement direction and provided with a recording head for emitting ink; a discharge port including a region from which a medium, on which the recording head records, is discharged; and a flexible ink tube that is connected to the head unit and guides ink, conveyed from an ink-storage part in which ink is stored, to the recording head. The inkjet recording device is characterized in that when the surface on which the discharge port is positioned is the front surface of the device, the ink tube projects from the front surface of the device to the exterior thereof.
