Abstract:
This inkjet recording method includes a step for applying a pretreatment liquid containing water, a flocculant having a molecular weight of 1000 or less, and a resin onto an impermeable substrate; a pretreatment liquid drying step; a step for using an inkjet recording method to apply a first ink containing water and a colorant on the impermeable substrate to which the pretreatment liquid has been applied; a step for drying the first ink under drying conditions of a wind speed of V meters/second, a drying temperature of T°C, and a drying time of t seconds; and a second ink application step. When the amount of flocculant contained with respect to the total amount of the pretreatment liquid is M mass% and the amount of resin contained with respect to the total amount of the pretreatment liquid is P mass%, V, T, t, M, and P satisfy formulas (1) and (2). (1) 3500 ≥ 50V + TtM / P ≥ 700
(2) 120 ≥ T ≥ 25
