Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of, when printing an image on pale-color cloth by an inkjet-textile printing method, maintaining the colorfulness and OD value of the printed image on the textile-printing material and the texture of the textile-printing material, and improving tack. As a solution to the problem, provided is an inkjet-textile printing method comprising steps A-C in the stated order: step A for preparing pale-color cloth pre-treated with a pre-treatment liquid; step B for applying, by inkjet on the pre-treated pale-color cloth, a white ink composition containing a white pigment, a water-dispersible resin, and water; and step C for applying, by inkjet on an ink layer formed by the application of the white ink composition, a chromatic-color ink composition containing a chromatic-color pigment, a water-dispersible resin, and water. The applied amount of the white ink composition per unit area in the applied region of the white ink composition is 3.0-13.0 fold, in terms of solid content mass ratio, of the applied amount of the chromatic color ink composition per unit area in the applied region of the chromatic color ink composition.
