Abstract:
The invention is directed to a chlorinator mounted in-line in a water purification system having a housing (100) having an inlet end and outlet end and an upper compartment having an electronics section (190) with a controller unit (200) contained within the electronics section (190) and in electrical communication with a power source and at least one electrolytic plate (120). The system has a heat sink member (130) in thermal communication with controller (200), wherein the flow of the water in a water purification system cools the heat sink member (130) and controller unit (200).
