Provided are an inner drum and a clothes washing machine; said inner drum can hold wash water independently during a washing and rinsing process, and comprises a drum bottom (3) and a drum wall (2); the drum wall (2) is provided with a first connecting part at one end adjacent to the drum bottom (3); the side of the drum bottom (3) is provided with a second connecting part; the first connecting part and the second connecting part are fixedly connected, and a sealing member (6) is provided between the two. The inner drum is provided with a sealing member (6) arranged between the connection structure of the drum bottom (3) and the drum bottom wall (2), achieving sealing between the drum wall (2) and the drum bottom (3), preventing water leakage between the two, and ensuring the sealing of the inner cylinder during washing and rinsing. The clothes washing machine comprising the inner drum prevents dirt between the inner and outer cylinders, and at the same time, there is no water between the inner and outer drums, reducing the amount of wash water and conserving water resources.
