Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an inner rotor motor with a stator adopting a square stator core, capable of increasing the torque thereof without increasing the size of the motor. The inner rotor motor comprises: a stator having a stator core projecting a plurality of main poles on the inner side of an annular core back and a coil wound around each of the main poles via an insulating body; and a rotor rotatably arranged inside the stator so as to face the tip end of each main pole, the rotor having a rotary shaft in the axial center. The inner rotor motor is characterized in that: the core back part of the stator core is configured to form a substantially square outer shape by cutting off the four corners with the lateral faces of the four sides of the square respectively forming the outer surface of the motor; each main pole of the stator core is arranged at a position forming a prescribed angle with the center of the four sides of the core back part circumferentially with the axial center as the center; and the ratio of the maximum inner diameter to the minimum outer diameter in the stator core is set to 0.65 to 0.75.
