Abstract:
The inner walls of an elevator car, which include side walls and a ceiling, are composed of wall panels, which need be replaced when becoming scarred or soiled. This replacement work is difficult to perform using conventional techniques. Provided is an inner wall structure of an elevator car, said inner wall structure comprising wall panels each made up of a panel main body and a surface layer member, wherein the periphery of the surface layer member is bent to extend over the edges of the rear side of the panel main body so that the surface layer member covers the front surface and the peripheral edges of the panel main body, wherein each panel main body is provided on the rear surface thereof with adhesive members that can be attached to and detached from the inner walls of the car, and wherein when the wall panels are attached to the inner walls of the car, adjacent wall panels are butted against or engaged with each other.
