Abstract:
This invention is related to a functional and visual innovation in an illuminated swing mechanism (1) equipped with a colored lighting system with LED bulbs inside connected to mains power with an aim to create a more enjoyable environment where users have a seat and rest and have a good time in indoor and outdoor areas such as playgrounds, amusement centers, parks and gardens and to make such environment more visually appealing. The retainer (3.1) placed inside of the connector (3) of the illuminated swing mechanism (1) of present invention enables full rotation of the body (2) around its own axis and offers more enjoyable time to the people using the system.

Claims:
CLAIMS

An illuminated swing mechanism (1) in the present invention comprising of a body (2) on which the user sits while swinging, which gives a colored view from the outside with the light passing through the LED and has a handle; a bearing rope (4) which is mounted on top of the body (2) with a connector (3), allows for the suspension and oscillation of the body (2), carries the weight of the body (2) and the persons sitting on the body (2) and which the power cable from the LEDs in the body (2) goes through; a retaining apparatus (5) which is mounted at the empty tip of the rope (4) and allows for retaining the illuminated swing mechanism (1) at any point, through which the power cable from the bearing rope (4) goes and allows for connecting to the mains power, and characterized in that the present invention comprises a connector (3) which is located at the point where the body (2) is connected with the bearing rope (4), which the power cables go through while the power cables from the body (2) pass onto the bearing rope (4) and which has retainer (3.1) that allows for the full rotation of the body (2) with the full rotation of the bottom part and prevents the power cables inside from rupturing due to full rotation while the top part remains fixed, and bearings which help easy execution of full rotation when the body (2) is loaded weight.

Description:
AN INNOVATION IN AN ILLUMINATED SWING MECHANISM

Technical Field This invention is related to a functional and visual innovation in an illuminated swing mechanism equipped with a colored lighting system with LED bulbs inside connected to mains power with an aim to create a more enjoyable environment where users have a seat and rest and have a good time in indoor and outdoor areas such as playgrounds, amusement centers, parks and gardens and to make such environment more visually appealing.

The retainer placed inside of the connector of the illuminated swing mechanism of present invention enables full rotation of the body around its own axis and offers more enjoyable time to the people using the system. Prior Art

Today, with the improvement of the living standards of people, the need for material standards relatively increases and thus, new requirements occur for the quality of objects. Therefore, places such as playgrounds, parks and gardens develop to appeal people from all ages and products used for amusement become more interesting with various modifications such as lighting etc.

In the state of the art, there are many swings with double ropes andseats made of plastic, metal or fabric, used in all indoor and outdoor areas, especially in parks and gardens.

In the construction of these LED swings in the state of the art, pipes made of materials with low strength or V-form bearing ropes which are not weight resistant are being used. These V-form ropes which carry and suspend the swing only allow for the person on the swing to move forward and backwards.

There are various developments in the art.

One of the developments in the art, the Turkish Patent document numbered TR 2016/12245 is related to a pleasure swing which is used in all indoor and outdoor spaces, on which users seat, relax and enjoy and has an appearance of a ring which has reinforced strength. The risk of not being able to carry the weight by the rope while swinging is eliminated by the steel bolt on the ceiling connection part of the rope which carries the swing, and accidents which might occur due to a ruptured rope are addressed in the document.

Another development in the art, the Turkish Patent document numbered TR 2018/06581 is related to a LED swing which senses the swinging movement of the user on the swing and operates the lighting LEDs according to the predefined color distribution based on the swinging angle, offers wire/wireless communication in swing groups and transmits the current state of the swing to other ones, receives messages from neighbor swings and to do so, has a detection, communication and control unit, handles and an energy supply port which offers necessary energy supply and an energy supply cable.

Another development in the art, the Chinese Patent document numbered CN 205252499 is related to a swing with a rotating body for an illuminating oscillation whose color and brightness can be configured and has. The developments in the art describe a swing which is in the form of a ring which has LEDs inside and can only move forward and backwards. The ability of the swing to rotate around its horizontal axis by 360 degrees is not described.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The illuminated swing mechanism developed for the fulfillment of this invention is demonstrated in the figures attached hereto.

Figure-6 is a view of the retainer of the illuminated swing mechanism.

Figure-7 is a top view of the retainer of the illuminated swing mechanism.

The illuminated swing mechanism (1) in the present invention is comprised of;

- A body (2) on which the user sits while swinging, which gives a colored view from the outside with the light passing through the LED and has a handle to prevent falling of the user while swinging,

- A bearing rope (4) which is mounted on top of the body (2) with a connector (3), allows for the suspension and oscillation of the body (2), carries the weight of the body (2) and the persons sitting on the body (2) and which the power cable from the LEDs in the body (2) goes through,

- A retaining apparatus (5) which is mounted at the empty tip of the rope (4) and allows for retaining the illuminated swing mechanism (1) at any point, through which the power cable from the bearing rope (4) goes and allows for connecting to the mains power,

- A connector (3) which is located at the point where the body (2) is connected with the bearing rope (4), which the power cables go through while the power cables from the body (2) pass onto the bearing rope (4) and which has retainer (3.1) that allows for the full rotation of the body (2) with the full rotation of the bottom part and prevents the power cables inside from rupturing due to full rotation while the top part remains fixed, and bearings which help easy execution of full rotation when the body (2) is loaded weight.

The illuminated swing mechanism (1) in the present invention has a transparent plastic body (2) which gives off light outside. There are LEDs inside the body (2) and the color of the light changes with transition. Therefore, it offers a visual feast of colors.

The body (2) of the illuminated swing mechanism (1) in the present invention can be manufactured in any shape preferably rectangle, square, etc. according to the structure and form of the swing.

It is possible to apply advertisement onto the body in the illuminated swing mechanism (1). Hotels, shopping malls etc. can put their advertisement on the swing and exhibit visual information and promotion.

Furthermore, the seat in the body (2) has a flatter form compared to the round structure. Therefore, persons sitting on the swing can more easily and comfortably use the swing.

There is a cover at an invisible point at the bottom part of the body (2) in the illuminated swing mechanism. This cover allows for easy access to the LEDs in case of a failure in the LEDs inside the body.
