Abstract:
Provided is an inorganic composition and the like which comprise at least one selected from glass or non-glass ceramics, and which have excellent mechanical strength, toughness, and the like, and have excellent productivity. The inorganic composition and the like comprise, as a component, at least one selected from glass or non-glass ceramics, and has a bending strength measured by a four-point bending test based on JIS R 1601 of 300 MPa or more, and a fluorescence intensity of 3000 RFU or less at a wavelength of 260 to 600 nm measured by a fluorophotometric method based on JIS K 0120 when the wavelength is excited by light of a wavelength value in the range of 180 to 250 nm. The inorganic composition and the like are produced by arranging the inorganic composition in a predetermined location in a heating furnace that has a photon irradiation device, and irradiating the inorganic composition with photons while heating the inorganic composition to 150 to 1000°C.
