Abstract:
Disclosed are an inorganic core material composition for sandwich panels, having excellent non-combustibility and lightness, and a preparation method therefor, the composition being eco-friendly and having superior physical properties such as non-combustibility, lightness, thermal insulation and sound absorption since Portland cement therein is partially replaced with calcium carbonate and fly ash from fluidized-bed boilers. The method for manufacturing an inorganic core material for sandwich panels, having excellent non-combustibility and lightness, comprises the steps of: (a) mixing materials and changing same into a slurry; (b) charging the slurry in a mold, and then foaming and agglomerating same; (c) primarily curing the foamed and agglomerated slurry; (d) removing, from the mold, a semi-cured product having been primarily cured, cutting same, and then secondarily curing same; and (e) lowering the temperature of a cured product having been secondarily cured, and then drying same.
