Abstract:

The disclosed invention relates to an input device, a display device including the input device, and a control method for the input device, wherein the control method for the input device may comprise the steps of: acquiring reference data by at least one of the input device and an electronic device connected to the input device; outputting an operation detection signal by an operation detection unit of the input device; irradiating first light by a light source of the input device; detecting, by a light detection unit of the input device, first reflected light incident to the light detection unit from the irradiated first light; and comparing the result of the detection of the first reflected light with the reference data, and determining, on the basis of the result of the comparison, whether the outputting of the operation detection signal by the operation detection unit is due to an erroneous operation, by at least one of the input device and the electronic device.
