Abstract:
A tenkey unit 70 is mounted on a mounting section 12 of an image formation device 1 and enables information to be inputted to the image formation device 1, the tenkey unit comprising: a casing 71 that is mounted on the mounting section 12; operation keys 100 constituted of hardware keys enabling numerical value-related information to be inputted; a substrate 73 that is provided inside the casing 71; a body-side cable 76 that is connected to a connector 85 which is mounted on the substrate 73 and that electrically connects the image formation device 1 and the tenkey unit 70 to each other; and a first open section 71a through which the body-side cable 76 is inserted. A first opening is provided, in the plate thickness direction of the substrate 73, in the bottom surface of the casing 71 so as to expose the body-side cable 76 to the outside of the casing 71 from a surface opposite the surface where the operation keys 100 are provided.
