Abstract:
An input device and an image forming device comprise a numeric keypad unit 70 that is mountable on an image forming device 1 and allows input of information to the image forming device 1, wherein the numeric keypad unit 70 comprises an operation key 100 that includes hardware key capable of inputting at least information about a numerical value, a connection cable 75 that is provided on the housing 70a and USB-connects the image forming device 1 and the numeric keypad unit 70, and an external USB port 72 that is provided on the housing 70a and USB-connectable to an external device and allows the USB-connected external device to be electrically connected to the image forming device 1 via the connection cable 75. The external USB port 72 is disposed on a side surface 70F toward the front of the operation key 100, with the numeric keypad unit 70 being mounted on the image forming device 1.
