Abstract:
The present invention provides an input device and an input system capable of realizing in a highly reliable manner the detection of position coordinates in response to changes in environmental temperature. One embodiment of this input system (50) comprises a pen input device (40), and a pen (3) that emits a light. The pen input device (40) is provided with: a light-guide plate (1) for propagating the light of the pen (3) internally; and image-capturing units (10, 20) for capturing, at mutually different locations, portions of the light beam propagated within the light-guide plate (1). The image-capturing units (10, 20) are affixed to the light-guide plate (1).
