Abstract:
An input device comprises a button, a housing for slidably guiding the button, a switch fixed to the housing and operated by the button, a motor fixed to the housing, a driving body fixed to either of the button and motor, and a coil spring engaged with the driving body and fixed to the other of the button and motor. The coil spring is rotated by the motor and moved relative to the driving body by the rotation. In this input device, because the button and motor are connected by the coil spring, the button can be moved and the switch can be operated by a simple mechanism.
