Abstract:
Provided are an input method based website information providing method and device. The method comprises the following steps: receiving information inputted by a user on an input method interface; obtaining information of a website corresponding to the inputted information; and displaying the website information to provide a selection for the user. The input method based website information providing method provided in the present invention enables a user to obtain address information quickly and simply, and it is not necessary for the user to input all characters of a website address, thus reducing a user input cost, and improving user input experience.
