Abstract:

An insect attractant lighting system which irradiates attraction light for attracting insects and keeping the insects away from plant to a farm field, wherein an insect-repelling effect on diurnal insects is improved. An insect attractant lighting system (1) is provided with a setting unit (2) for setting an optional time zone at night as an action time zone, pseudo sunlight source sections (3) for irradiating pseudo sunlight which does not contain the wavelength component of 500 to 600 nm to the entire vinyl house (H1) during the action time zone, and attraction light source sections (4) for irradiating attraction light to part within the vinyl house (H1) during the action time zone. The activity of diurnal insects (B1) is activated during the night by pseudo sunlight irradiation at night, and the activated diurnal insects (B1) can be attracted by the attraction light and kept away from plant (P1). This makes it possible to aggressively protect against the diurnal insects (B1). Furthermore, the pseudo sunlight does not contain the light in the wavelength range of 500 to 600 nm, which is reflected on the plant (P1), and the diurnal insects (B1) become difficult to visually identify the plant (P1), resulting in further increased insect-repelling effect.
