Abstract:
This insect behavior suppression device (1) is provided with a light source (2) and a control unit. The light source (2) emits light having wavelength components of 780-1,350 nm. The control unit controls the light source (2). The control unit causes the light source (2) to blink at a blink frequency of 50-400 Hz. In addition, the emission illuminance of the light source (2) has a value that is at least 5.4 times the average irradiation illuminance at an irradiation surface that faces the light source (2).
