Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of developing and providing a novel insecticide agent for agricultural or horticultural use on the basis of factors in the production of agricultural and horticultural crops, such as the fact that great damages have been still caused by pests and the fact that pests having resistance to existing chemicals have been developed, and also addresses the problem of providing a chemical substance which can control ectoparasites or endoparasites in animals. These problems can be solved by: an imidazopyridazine compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein it is preferred that R1 represents a haloalkyl group, R2 represents a thienyl group and R3 represents an alkylthioalkyl group) or a salt thereof; an insecticide agent for agricultural or horticultural use and an endoparasite or ectoparasite control agent for animals, which contains the compound or a salt thereof as an active ingredient; and a use of the insecticide agent and the endoparasite or ectoparasite control agent.
