Abstract:
An insert attaching/detaching type drill enabling the suitable integration of a drill body with a cutting insert. The drill comprises a cross hatch angle between the clamp receiving surface of the cutting insert (2) pressed against the clamp surface of the drill body (1) and the torque receiving surface of the drill body adjacent to the clamp receiving surface while crossing each other and receiving the rotational force of the drill body (1) from a torque transmission surface is formed smaller, within a range of 2°, than a cross hatch angle between the clamp surface of the drill body clampingly holding the cutting insert (2) and the torque transmission surface of the drill body adjacent to the clamp surface while crossing each other and transmitting the rotational force of the drill body (1) to the cutting insert (2).
