Abstract:
An insertion apparatus, wherein a tubular elastic member covers in a watertight manner the entirety of a traction wire connected to an oscillating base inside a tip-forming part, and the affixing position for the elastic member is provided at a location rearward in the lengthwise direction by a prescribed distance toward the base-end side from the opening of a channel aperture for a treatment instrument. The traction wire is not exposed to the outside, a contaminating fluid or the like does not adhere thereto during treatment, and the space produced across a prescribed distance accommodates creases in the elastic member, which contracts when the oscillating base rises.
