Abstract:
The present invention comprises: an assembly step for attaching a sealed case in an existing pipe; a cutting step for forming a first groove-like opening extending in the pipe axis direction of the existing pipe; a second drilling step for forming a circular second opening at a location on the existing pipe facing the first opening; and an insertion step for inserting a butterfly-shaped valve body, which is in an open state and is integrated with a valve shaft passing through the first and second openings, through the first opening into the existing pipe 1 until the tip-end portion of the valve shaft protrudes from the second opening.
