Abstract:
An insertion device according to the present invention is provided with: a base stand part provided to an insertion part inserted in a subject; a rotary shaft for rotating with respect to the base stand part; a shaft-shaped fitting shaft provided to the rotary shaft; and a driven member for rotating together with the rotary shaft with respect to the base stand part, the driven member having a fitting hole for fitting on the outer periphery of the fitting shaft; the fitting shaft having a plurality of recesses provided in the outer periphery so as to be arranged along the shaft periphery, and a pair of mutually opposing side wall surfaces in each of the plurality of recesses being disposed so as to intersect at a right angle or an obtuse angle.
