This insertion instrument comprises: an insertion section 2 having a longitudinal axis N and adapted to be inserted in a subject; a grip section 10 having an outer peripheral section 10g formed about a center axis C intersecting the longitudinal axis N at a minor angle A, the grip section 10 being interconnected with a base end in the direction Q extending along the longitudinal axis N; and a flexible tube 20 extended from the major angle B side, which corresponds to the minor angle A relative to the center axis C, relative to an end 10t in the direction P extending along the center axis C of the outer peripheral section 10g.
