Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for inspecting a material under inspection, being an inspecting method employing ultrasound waves including the following step 201 to step 301, wherein, step 201 is performed in a state in which the surface temperature of a material under inspection - atmospheric temperature > 2°C, and an inspection employing ultrasound waves in step 301 satisfies the relationship refractive attenuation rate ≤ 1.5% when measuring an echo intensity. Step 201: A step of blowing a fluid from a blowing port onto the material under inspection. Step 301: A step of employing ultrasound waves to inspect the material under inspection, either after step 201 or simultaneously with step 201.
