Abstract:
The present invention accurately inspects dimensions related to the position of a steel cord. An X-ray 34 is radiated in a fan shape along the extension direction of a steel cord 16, transmits through a conveyor belt 10, and reaches an X-ray line sensor 26. A control device 32 moves an X-ray generating device 24 and the X-ray line sensor 26 within a fixed range at a fixed speed in a direction parallel with a plane 1602 and orthogonal to the extension direction of the steel cord 16, while the relative positions of the X-ray generating device 24 and the X-ray line sensor 26 are fixed. The control device 32 generates 2D image information on the basis of an X-ray transmission signal, which is taken each time the X-ray generating device 24 and the X-ray line sensor 26 are moved by a unit amount equal to the pixel pitch of the X-ray line sensor 26. The control device 32 detects measurement information about the conveyor belt 10 and the steel cord 16 on the basis of the obtained 2D image information.
