An inspection assistance device (20) performs communication from a device (11) serving as the start point of an inspection section to a device (11) serving as the endpoint of the inspection section, to assist with a security inspection for examining the security of the inspection section. The inspection assistance device is provided with: an input unit (31) that acquires respective device information(41) of a plurality of devices (11) that can communicate with each other; an inspection section condition database unit (32) that stores condition data (42) defining at least one of a start point condition which is a condition of the device (11) serving as a start point, and an endpoint condition which is a condition of the device (11) serving as the endpoint; and an inspection section search unit (33) that extracts, from among the plurality of devices (11), one or more combinations of a first device serving as a start point and a second device serving as an endpoint, by comparing the device information (41) acquired by the input unit (31) against the condition data stored in the inspection section condition database unit (32).
