Abstract:
Provided are an inspection device, a blister packing machine, and a method of manufacturing a blister pack, which can more accurately detect a molding defect in a side portion of a pocket part. A pocket part inspection device 21 is provided with: a lighting device 50 able to irradiate a container film 3 where a pocket part 2 has been molded with predetermined electromagnetic waves; and a camera 51 for imaging the electromagnetic waves that have passed through the bottom of the pocket part 2 of the container film 3. On the basis of image data acquired thereby, shading pattern data corresponding to a shading pattern produced in the bottom of the pocket part 2 is extracted. To acquire reconstructed shading pattern data that has been reconstructed, the extracted shading pattern data is input to an AI model generated by having a neural network learn, as learning data, only shading pattern data related to a pocket part 2 that has no molding defects. Next, the shading pattern data and the reconstructed shading pattern data are compared to perform a quality determination pertaining to a state of molding of at least a side part of the pocket part 2.
