Abstract:
Provided is an inspection device for passenger conveyors whereby it is possible to determine the state of the positional relationship between multiple comb teeth and multiple cleats. This inspection device for passenger conveyors extracts comb shape data and cleat shape data from surface data, calculates a first similarity, which is the degree of similarity between the comb shape data and first reference data, calculates a second similarity, which is the degree of similarity between the comb shape data and second reference data, calculates a third similarity, which is the degree of similarity between the cleat shape data and the first reference data, calculates a fourth similarity, which is the degree of similarity between the cleat shape data and the second reference data, and determines the state of the positional relationship between the multiple combs and the multiple cleats on the basis of first coordinates having the first similarity and the second similarity as elements and second coordinates having the third similarity and the fourth similarity as elements.
