Abstract:
This inspection device has: a movable information acquisition means that acquires information pertaining to an article; an identification means that, on the basis of the information acquired by the information acquisition means, identifies whether the article is to be assessed in terms of consumption state; and an assessment means that, on the basis of the information acquired by the information acquisition means, assesses the consumption state of the article when it is identified that the article is to be assessed in terms of consumption state. In addition, this robot device is characterized in comprising: a movement means capable of approaching an article; at least one or more information acquisition means that acquire information pertaining to the article; an identification means that, on the basis of the information acquired by the at least one or more information acquisition means, identifies whether the article is to be assessed in terms of consumption state; an assessment means that, on the basis of the information acquired by the at least one or more information acquisition means, assesses the consumption state of the article when it is identified by the identification means that the article is to be assessed in terms of consumption state; and a response means that executes a prescribed response on the basis of the consumption state of the article as assessed by the assessment means.
