Abstract:
Provided is an inspection device that introduces light through an end face of a light guiding plate, shines the light on an article placed below the light guiding plate, and captures an image using a camera, wherein the clarity of images captured by the camera can be improved even without a reflective panel. The inspection device (1) has: an illumination device (2) which is provided with a housing (4), a light source unit (5) which is disposed inside the housing (4), and a light guiding plate (6) in which an end face (6a) is disposed inside the housing (4) so as to face the light source unit (5), light is introduced from the light source unit (5), the light is reflected downward by a plurality of transparent semispherical bodies (6A) which are formed on an upper surface (6b) in a two-dimensional arrangement, and light can be shone on an article (M) placed below a lower surface (6c); and a camera (3) which is disposed above the upper surface (6b) of the light guiding plate (6) and captures images of the article (M) by receiving light reflected by the article (M).
