Abstract:
Provided is an inspection jig for the chain of a passenger conveyor with which it is possible to accurately ascertain the elongation of the chain. This inspection jig for the chain of a passenger conveyor in which a chain formed by two adjacent links being connected by couplings moves rotationally while engaging a sprocket comprises a contactor that is positioned to make contact with two adjacent couplings at the point where the chain begins to engage with or disengage from the sprocket, and that is displaced in a direction away from or approaching the axis of rotation of the sprocket according to the amount of runout of the two couplings that are in contact when the chain moves rotationally.
