Abstract:
An inspection master according to the present invention can perform, in addition to 3-axis measurement, 5-axis measurement of additionally measuring a rotational axis and/or turning axis of a 5-axis working machine. In one embodiment of the present invention, a cylindrical master body having a circumferential surface and an upper surface is provided with: circumferential surface spherical reference parts that are provided on the circumferential surface so as to project laterally; and an upper reference ball that is provided on the upper surface so as to project upward and that is for detecting the inclination angle of the master body. The circumferential surface spherical reference parts are located at two or more spots in the circumferential direction on the circumferential surface. In another embodiment, the master body is provided with: an upper reference ball that is provided on the upper surface so as to project upward and that is for detecting the inclination angle of the master body; and upper surface spherical reference parts that are provided on the upper surface so as to project upward at one or more spots on the outer side of the upper reference ball. In further another embodiment, the master body is provided with both a circumferential surface spherical reference part and an upper surface spherical reference part.
