Abstract:
The present invention relates to inspection method and apparatus, the method comprising the steps of: capturing an image of a cap sealing of a container, within a field of view (FOV) of an IR camera, by means of the IR camera; calculating a reliability score on the basis of previously learned sample data and thermal image data corresponding to the captured image of the cap sealing; and comparing the calculated reliability score and a predefined reliability value range and determining the cap sealing as good, not good or a subject for user inspection on the basis of the comparison result. In analyzing thermal image data relating to a cap sealing of a particular container according to an embodiment, if low reliability is shown, the cap sealing is not determined as good or not good but can be classified as a subject for user inspection by means of a rejection process in which the cap sealing is separated.
