Abstract:
This inspection method is for a control circuit in which a memory unit (110) and a control unit (140) connected to the memory unit via a signal line (161) are provided on a substrate (101). The method comprises: providing, on the substrate, a foot pattern portion (150) to which an inspection device (181, 182) can be connected and a connection line (171) connecting the foot pattern portion to an intermediate portion (161a) of the signal line, prior to shipment; connecting the inspection device to the foot pattern portion after recovery of the control circuit based on malfunction in the market; performing first inspection of establishing a connected state of a part, of the signal line, between the memory unit and the intermediate portion and establishing a disconnected state of a part, of the signal line, between the control unit and the intermediate portion; and performing second inspection of establishing a connected state of the part, of the signal line, between the control unit and the intermediate unit and establishing a disconnected state of the part, of the signal line, between the memory unit and the intermediate portion.
