Abstract:
This inspection system for safety devices of passenger transport mechanisms is equipped with: a main wireless terminal (100) that is wired to a control panel (3) of a passenger transport mechanism (1); and a sub wireless terminal (200) that is carried by an operator who operates and inspects safety devices (6) scattered in the passenger transport mechanism, and performs wireless communication with the main wireless terminal. The main wireless terminal (100) has: a wireless antenna (105) and a main wireless terminal control unit (100c) that receives safety device information, including the operational states of the safety devices (6), from the control panel (3), and sends the safety device information from the wireless antenna to the sub wireless terminal. The sub wireless terminal (200) has a wireless antenna (206), notification units (202, 203, 204, 205), and a sub wireless terminal control unit (200c) that causes the notification units (202, 203, 204, 205) to be driven and causes the operator to be notified about the contents of the safety device information received by the wireless antenna (105).
