The invention relates to a translation system and method that automatically translates the speech of users, who speak different mother languages, on phone calls, conferences and similar communication methods for remote communication.

Known Status of the Art:

Language is the most important tool of communication. It is known that there are 7000-8000 spoken languages across the globe. A clear majority of these languages are used by barely people. Although English is known to many people as a common language today, it is a known fact that people who speak different languages still cannot fully understand each other. The invention subject to this description provides a translation system that automatically translates the speech of users speaking different mother languages.

During the negotiations and meetings in the known art, the speeches of the speakers are transferred to other users after being translated by a translator. This method is both slow and costly.

In conclusion, an autonomous translation system and method is needed where the known status of the art has been overcome and its disadvantages have been eliminated. Brief Description of the Invention:

The invention is an autonomous translation system and method with additional features, where the prior art has been overcome, its disadvantages have been eliminated.

The aim of the invention is to introduce an autonomous translation system and method that records the speeches at certain intervals, translates them in the language of their choice and sends them in written and verbally.

Another aim of the invention is to introduce an autonomous translation system and method that automatically translates into the mother tongue of the users in conversations made with user equipment, which can be mobile phone, computer and tablet.

A further aim of the invention is to introduce the translation system and method that makes instant and autonomous translation to be used whether between two people or in conference speeches. The present invention is a translation system and method that that automatically translates the speech of users, who speak different mother languages, on phone calls, conferences and similar communication methods for remote communication in order to realize all the objectives mentioned above and which shall emerge from the detailed description below, its feature is characterized by; involving user equipment, where users can select their mother tongue through a software and make conference calls with at least two people; including a software installed in the user equipment that records the conversation of users with intervals of 4-6 seconds; and including a processor module that processes the recording data from the software within the server to make it suitable for translation; including a translation module that translates the recording data into the native language of the listener both written and verbally; and involving the communication module that sends the translation record, which has been prepared by the translation module written and verbally, to the user equipment of the listener.

Description of the Invention:

In this detailed description, the autonomous translation system subject to the invention is explained with examples that will not impose any restrictive effect, just for a better understanding of the subject. In the specification, a translation system and method that that automatically translates the speech of users, who speak different mother languages, on phone calls, conferences and similar communication methods for remote communication has been described. In Figure 1 , the view where the autonomous translation system subject to the invention is used between two users is indicated. Accordingly, user A (A) speaks to user B (B) on the user equipment (10). The main languages of user A (A) and user B (B) are different. When user A (A) speaks, the software (11) in the user equipment (10) records the conversations at 4-6 second intervals and transmits them to the server (20). The server (20) processes this speech data in the processor module (23) and translates it into the mother tongue of user B (B) in the translation module (21). Afterwards, the translation made is transmitted via the communication module instantly, both in written and verbal form, to the software (11) on the user equipment of user B (B). The (A) conversations of user A are sent automatically to the software (11) of user B (B) user equipment (11 ) with delays of 4-6 seconds.

In Figure 2, the view of the autonomous translation system subject to the invention is indicated during a conference call. Accordingly, in a conference call made between user A (A), user B (B), user C (C) and user D (D), the translation system translates the users' conversations instantly and transmits them to each other in native language of each user. For example, when user A speaks (A), translation is made to user B (B), user C (C) and user D (D). The speaking language of the users listening herein may be the same or different. The system is able to translate into different languages at the same time. Speech data from a user is processed with the processor module (23) inside the server (20) and the system converts it into the mother tongue of each user in the translation module (21). The translated data is transmitted verbally and in writing to the software (11) of the user equipment (10) via the communication module (22).

The invention includes multi-language translation feature. For example, when someone who speaks Turkish has a conference with German, French and Arabic speakers, his/her conversations are transmitted to the other party in German, French and Arabic translations, while the conversations of other users reach only in Turkish. This situation is provided by the processor module (23) that analyses the mother tongue of a large number of users in the conference calls within the server (20) and provides the translations to the users in their native language.
