Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of computers, and in particular to instant messaging message prompting method and an instant messaging client. The instant messaging message prompting method comprises: when receiving an instant messaging message, an instant messaging client the current interface of which is an audio/video call interface first determines whether the instant messaging message satisfies a preset prompting condition; if the prompting condition is satisfied, output on the audio/video call interface a prompting message by means of a preset prompting mode. That is, in the present application, when receiving an instant messaging message, an instant messaging client the current interface of which is an audio/video call interface provides, by means of outputting prompting information on the video/audio call interface, to a user a prompt that a new instant messaging message is received, thereby improving user experience.
